This is my last week of being a Sophomore at WashU.
Finals are quickly approaching and there's been a lot to study and get finished. I have two exams on Thursday and one on Friday - then my Cousin Laura's wedding!!
It hit me last week that my summer officially starts on Friday! :)
I wont be home until the 7th and then the training really begins!
Let me tell you about my summer plans and then you'll understand the training bit:
This summer I will be running from San Francisco to Baltimore with a group of college aged people. We are running with the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young adults. Yes that's right; I said RUNNING...
(To find out more about why I am running check my profile:
http://4kforcancer.org/profiles/victoria-hulsing/ -- I would love your support!)
Each of the team members will run 13-14 miles each day. We have talked about running 2 6-7 segments and 3 4-5 segments. Originally we had planning on running 1 mile segments but decided for injury prevention its best to make the segments longer and have less cool downs.
I am building this blog so that friends and family and supports can follow my experience through this amazing journey. You can keep up with how the team is doing and what our progress is across the United States! Each day that I am running will be dedicated to someone special that effected my life or someone else I know's life. If you would like to dedicate a day to someone you love - make a donation of $30 or more. Thats one dollar per day that I will be running!
Feel free to facebook me or send me an email if you have questions.
Love,
Victoria Hulsing
